Golden Hands Pilates: What our clients say

What our clients say I had a great experience at Golden Hands Pilates. I booked a sports massage because my hips and lower back had become really tight from regular workouts, and the treatment made a noticeable difference. Ms. Sang took the time to understand where my discomfort was coming from and adjusted the massage to focus on the areas that needed the most attention. I especially recommend her if you're dealing with lower back pain or stiffness—she is incredibly skilled and helped me move much more comfortably afterward. The studio is clean, peaceful, and very welcoming, and everyone made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. You can tell the staff genuinely care about helping people feel better, not just getting them in and out. I'll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend Golden Hands Pilates to anyone looking for a high-quality sports or therapeutic massage.

Myofascial release is a hands-on therapy technique that focuses on relieving tension in the body’s fascia. Fascia is a thin, connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. When this tissue becomes tight or restricted—due to injury, stress, or poor posture—it can cause pain, stiffness, and limited movement.

During a myofascial release session, our Golden Hands Pilates therapists use gentle, sustained pressure to stretch and loosen these tight areas. Unlike traditional massage, which often works directly on muscles with stronger pressure, myofascial release is slower and more targeted. The goal is to allow the fascia to gradually relax and

return to a more natural state.

The therapist is applying slow, sustained pressure to restricted fascia, carefully sensing tissue resistance, and guiding gentle release to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall body function.

This technique helps to improve flexibility, reduce chronic pain, and restore better movement patterns. It is used for conditions like back pain, neck stiffness, and sports injuries. Many people also find it calming, as the slow movements encourage the body to relax deeply and release built-up tension over time.
